Follow These Cooking Tips While You Wait for the Taste of Fort Collins
You don’t have to wait for the Taste of Fort Collins to enjoy delicious food and wine. Why not learn to create wine tasting-worthy creations in your own kitchen? To learn your way around the kitchen, consider taking a cooking class or checking out online tutorials. Otherwise, we have cooking tips to share from cookinglight.com.
Read the recipe first. There is nothing worse than beginning a recipe only to find you don’t have the right ingredients, tools, enough time, etc. Read recipes through at least once to make sure you’re ready to go.
Taste as you go. Don’t forget to taste a bit as you go. Recipes provide some good flavor guidelines but you might prefer something a little more salty, peppery, spicy, etc. By tasting as you go, you’ll know whether you want to add or subtract ingredients from the list.
Don’t overheat. From chocolate to dairy, overheated ingredients can change flavor and consistency in ways that can compromise or ruin your recipe. Pay careful attention to temperatures.
