Meet the Local Bands at People’s Fair
Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs
Named 303 Magazine’s Best Country Band, Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs are a local favorite. After releasing his first album in 2016, Matt Rouch joined forces with the rest of his band to create their unique alternative country folk music sound. Since then they have won numerous awards like the Best in Class for Strings award at the Vertex Musical Championships. Don’t miss your chance to see them June 2nd on the Main Stage.
Modern Suspects has often been described as a local band on the rise. Founded just four years ago, they are already a common feature on local radio stations and have played in major Colorado venues like the Gothic and Broomfield’s First Bank Center. They are a “poptenative” band with a sound that aims to define their individuality. This local band is passionate about their music and their fans and it shows in each performance. See them perform live this Summer June 1st at the People’s Fair
Trout Steak Revival
Trout Steak Revival doesn’t like to label their progressive sound. In 2014 they won the Best Band Award at the Colorado Bluegrass Festival and since then they have only continued to grow. By not sticking to traditional boundaries, Trout Steak Revival has perfected their Colorado Bluegrass style. This local favorite will be headlining the main stage on June 2nd.
P O P F I L T E R
A relatively new group, P O P F I L T E R is proud to be born in Colorado. The three band mates met while attending the University of Colorado and since then have become a huge presence in the local music scene. Their immense talent and indie sound was enough to catch the attention of local radio station 93.3 who featured them on their station as a Hometown for the Holidays contestant. Since then they have gone on to perform across the state. This Summer they will be playing the People’s Fair main stage on June 3rd.
Wendy Clark Band
Formerly known as Tequila Mockingbird, Wendy Clark Band is known for their playful spirit that engages and captivates audiences. This original Americana rock band aims to tell a story through every song they perform.
