Oyster_The Race takes place every summer in Denver and San Francisco. It raises funds for the local Make-A-Wish foundations and allows friends, co-workers, and families to have an excuse to be completely wacky and wild as they make their way through the mystery course of adventure. However, as fun as it is, it is even more fun if you have a little endurance built up. This 8-Week Beginner’s Program is the perfect way for first time Oysters to get in the groove.
The best part about this program is that you walk more than you run – at first. Then, you run more than you walk because you’re ready for it. For example:
- Week 1: you walk 140 minutes, you run 40 minutes.
- Week 4: you walk 70 minutes, you run 93 minutes.
- Week 8: you walk 34 minutes, you run 146 minutes.
