The 4 things Everyone will be Talking about at the Highlands Street Fair
The Highlands Street Fair is this Saturday, June 23rd in Denver’s fastest growing neighborhood. This free, family friendly, event will highlight the best of the Highlands bringing together local food, music, and vendors. Gates will be open from 11am to 7pm and the event will run from 32nd and Irving to 32nd and Perry. With everything this event has to offer, here are four things that everyone will be talking about at the Highlands Street Fair…
Food and Vendors
Fill up on delicious food or get your shopping fill with one of the many vendors that will be setting up shop on 32nd avenue. Aside from the iconic restaurants that are located throughout the Highlands there will be an assortment of booths and food trucks. Some of the featured vendors include El Camino, Falafel King, Fire on the Mountain, Happy Cones, Infintus Inc., Snow Business, Grammy’s Goodies, Happy Bakeshop, Kale Me Crazy, Taste of Texas BBQ, Wilder Meats and Eats & Cowgirl Lemonade. Also along 32nd, be sure to check out local artists and makers showcasing some of their finest work.
Live Music
Colorado is known for an amazing local scene and for the past 38 years Highlands Street Fair has featured some of Colorado’s best. This year is no exception, with two stages running from 11am to 6:45pm. The Buffalo Trace Stage will feature Colorado classics like Junior Varsity 3 and Foot Joe and the Red Hot Rhinos and the Fireball Stage will be hosting local favorites like the Highland Ramblers and The Still Tide. Bring the whole family down to 32nd avenue for a day of dancing and fun with these amazing local artists. Full schedule listed below….

Free Classes
With all the amazing food and drink vendors throughout the Street Fair make sure you get there early for a workout with Pure Barre, Fit36 and Highlands Pilates. These companies will be teaming up to bring you an hour of sweating! Kicking off the fair at 11am on the Buffalo Trace Stage located on the East end of the festival make sure you get there early to scope out your perfect spot. This free opportunity will not only provide you with a great workout but it will also give you the chance to sample three of Denver’s best workouts.

Kids Zone
The Highlands Street Fair has something for everyone! Headed to the fair with young kids? Lutheran Medical Center is sponsoring a parenting nook where you can take a break from the festivities and feed or change your little ones. Looking to entertain your older kids? The Kids Zone this year is presented by Health ONE Metropolitan OB/GYN and will have tons of activities to keep your kids entertained for hours. bouncy houses, slides, obstacle courses and much more the Highlands Street Fair has something for kids of all ages!
